This kit replaces the frame on your Dune Racer, and Dune Racer Extreme with an extended length one to allow for taller drivers! It will also work on the Baja Extreme and Baja Trailster if you remove the rollbar over the driver. The seat position is adjustable with 4 screws. You can go from the stock setting up to a 5'8" driver comfortably. Driver shown in the photo is 5'6" and has his elbows bent.
Kit includes 2 powder coated steel frame rails pre-drilled and wire extensions. Nothing else is needed to do the base conversion. Because bigger riders tend to weigh more we do recommend running this kit with our and . 550 motors are not warrantied with the added weight. NOT for use with lithium batteries.
Installation is really easy! Unscrew the metal side bars, you won't be using them. Unscrew the seat. Unscrew the rest of the screws that go through the stock frame rails. Slide the new frame rails in place and bolt back together. Some Dune Racers have shorter wiring harnesses so we're providing extra wire to extended it as needed.
