The Second Gear is the second weakest link in the gearbox. This hardened steel replacement fits in all Kid Trax Dodge Ram Pickups, Chargers, 12v Land Rover Defenders, and 2021 style Broncos. It will fit in Kid Trax Fire Trucks that have a 19 tooth pinion gear on the motors. We designed this gear with a leading American gear manufacturing company to be so strong we offer a Lifetime Warranty* on it. The gear is made from one solid piece of stock, heat treated, and has holes to cut weight. The steel ball bearings reduce friction, heat, and resistance making for the most efficient gear possible.

You must have the same gearcase as the one pictured for the steel gear to fit.

To install this gear just remove your plastic second gear and put the steel one in place with a ball bearing (provided) on each side. Gearbox will be louder but smoother.

You must run a steel first gear with this gear or you will strip out the plastic one. One gear is included with this purchase. Order 2 if you want to do both gearboxes.
